Serana Being Serana

Was testing out some new dialogue for the followers, and then this happened. Seriously Serana, I don’t even…

In any case, I’ve been going in circles lately, so I welcome any suggestions regarding where I should travel next. I realize there’s a ton of places that have yet to be christened with follower commentary, but my guess is Talking Stone Camp is not high on the list.

  1. Not so much a where as a when, but I’d love to have more follower commentary during the quests you’ve made. There are lots of great comments on vanilla quests, but I don’t notice many for INPC quests.

  2. Ha ha oh Serana, you’re so nutty~! You know, I don’t think I’ve ever seen her use that animation before. Are you managing her with AFT?

As for suggestions… Hmm. Well, I don’t know where you’ve already been, but I think places that have more then two zones might be good targets for locational commentary. Places like Forelhost in the Rift and Deepwood Redoubt in the Reach (while technically only has one zone, Deepwood Vale and Hag’s End are only accessible through Deepwood Redoubt, so I’m counting it,) are huge places and may take several in-game hours to explore fully.

Another place that might be interesting is the Dwemer ruin Kagrenzel in Eastmarch. The ruin causes you to plummet hundreds of feet, and if you’re lucky you’ll land in a pool of water. It’s very easy to hit something and die on the way down. I don’t know if the fall will kill your followers, so careful testing would be needed, but some commentary about it could be highly amusing.

For some more quest related/emotional commentary I’m afraid I can only think of two off the top of my head at the moment: the locations Frostflow Lighthouse and Yngvild. The tragic events in Frostflow really tugged at my heartstrings, while the events in Yngvild left an unsettling feeling in the pit of my stomach. If I can think of any others I’ll be sure to add them.

  3. My first choice would be to include some of the Solstheim locations thanks to this brilliant mod it feels so empty now when it used to be so much better then Vanilla Skyrim.
