Settler Commentary Radius

So I’ve noticed that if you spam the mod’s settlers onto the same location you can get a lot of chatter; which would be fine if they all took turns, but the NPCs tend to talk over each other. As such, I’m currently trying out limiting commentary to being within a specific radius of the player.

Obviously you don’t want to make the radius too small or else no one will say anything, but 512 units, which is about 10 feet or so, seems like a good distance. In this video, I’m walking through my Red Rocket build with about 15 voiced settlers and they only talk over each other once.

There’s some unvoiced ones in there too though, and I don’t know if that affected the test, but I put most of them on farm duty a good 20 feet away from where I walked so I don’t think there was much interference. We’ll see when those are voiced just how many of them try to talk over one another. But for now, I think I’ll stick with 512 as a good distance.

10 Quick Things About: Hail Oh Hail Oh Infantry

So here’s what I was doing when I found yesterday’s unvoiced bits, making a video to give you 10 quick facts on the quest Hail Oh Hail Oh Infantry. I chose this quest because I’m lazy and it was short. And in the end I still probably rushed it, not thinking about giving the reader time to read, so I’ll be better with the next one.

On a side note, I just noticed all the women in this video are half-naked. While Commie’s outfit is supposed to be a parody (see #9), the Sole Survivor is wearing the exact same bikini harness and I don’t have an explanation for that.

Hideo, help me out here.

Welp, turns out I’m just a pervert.
