Atomic Radio v2

atomic800b

Changelog from v1:
-Added craftable workshop radio
-Added 2 additional music phases

Changelog from v2
– Forgot the transitions so re-added them

By request, added 2 additional phases of music to space out the talk radio content further. Also added a craftable radio station to the workshop. Turns out it takes all of ten seconds to do.

There’s also a way to replace the music if you’re on PC, which of course you are unless you’re a time traveler.

  1. Enable loading loose files.
  2. Create a folder Data/Sound/fx/mus/radio/atomicradio/FM/
  3. Inside said folder, add your music, labeling it 1.wav, 2.wav, 3.wav and so on, up to 44.wav. XWM is an acceptable format as well if you want to compress it.

Lastly, if you weren’t aware of this, if you hear a long program that you’ve heard before, or a song you don’t like, you can change it by turning the radio on/off.

  1. As someone who was just about to beg for this, thanks for the release! (Also, get out of my head)

  2. Had to re-upload because I forgot to add the transitions “This is Atomic Radio, the #1 yadyada” to the ba2 again.

Don’t even know why I made a new archive since changes were to the ESP only.

  3. Can you tell me where to find the craftable radio in the workshop menu? I’m using Settlement Keywords and Homemaker if that makes a difference. I can’t seem to find it under electricity > interactive or anywhere else I’ve looked. I could be blind though :S

      1. Thanks for getting back to me. I found it and yes,it was me being blind. I just have so much extra crap in my workshop menu that I kept missing it. Sorry to be a pain. I’ve been listening to it while I craft and it’s hilarious! :)

  4. This is SUCH a good mod. Of course, more good music, but the ads, the DJ, and especially the radio shows are just fantastic. Thanks so much for this excellent mod and all the hard work.
