Drennan – Male, Dark Elf, Lines in Red
Shuril – Female, Dark Elf, Lines in Black(FILLED)
I can’t believe Avrusa left us! It was irresponsible!
Avrusa?
The councilor’s daughter. She’s been missing for a day now. It was her turn to guard the entrance. Now we all have to do extra shifts, including my wife.
What brought you here? How did you join this group?
I grew up in the Gray Quarter, but lost my job working as a porter. Days later, I found out my wife was pregnant.
I was reduced to begging for food when I met Aldryn. He promised us a better life, so long as we were willing to work for it.
Tell me about the Falmer attack.
It happened so fast I don’t recall much. I’m just glad Councilor Aldryn was able to escape. So long as he lives, our lives have purpose.
I wish Zannfar wouldn’t question Councilor Aldryn. His words are the will of the Gods.
How long have you been holed up here?
A few days. We’re running out of food. I pray to our ancestors that the council has a plan.
What can you tell me about the council?
Aldryn is the one who led us all here. He’s a prophet, cut from the same cloth as Veloth.
With him, there was never a need for a three person council. But Councilor Aldryn is as humble as he is wise.
post-liberation
Thank you for saving us. If you don’t mind, may I ask your name? I’d like to name our child after you.
You’re pregnant?
I’m surprised Drennan didn’t tell you. We didn’t plan on it, but it’s part of the reason we came here.
No, you don’t have to do that. Really.
Oh, but I want to! If it weren’t for you, we might not even be here.
I’d be honored for the child to bear my name.
Azura bless you. I’m sure Drennan will be thrilled to hear the news.
That’s a bad idea. The child has no hope of living up to it.
Oh, I know. I just want to have a conversation starter, so I can tell the child how all of this came to be.
Sorry, I’ll have to decline.
I understand. Drennan will be disappointed, but I’m sure this too is Azura’s will.
My name is <Alias=Player>. Tell the child to wear it proud.
I will. I may have to change it a little depending on if it’s a boy or a girl, but it’ll remain faithful to the spirit of the name.
My name is Pessial the Pink, actually.
It’s a fine name. And I suppose the latter part makes it sort of feminine as well, so it works for boys and girls. Thank you.
If it’s a boy, then name him Rolff Stone-Fist. For that is the best name.
I’m not sure how Drennan will feel about that. Rolff happens to be the name of someone we both know pretty well.
And he was far from kind. But, we’ll see.
If it’s a girl, then name her Olfina. For that is the name of a strong Nord woman.
I’m not sure if that applies, given our child is not a Nord. But perhaps that will serve as a way of mending old wounds.
Then name the child after Ylgyne. As a Nord, the story will have deeper meaning.
That’s a wonderful idea. It will be a good reminder that the path forward is not filled with hate.
Aldryn dead
I can’t believe Zannfar killed the Councilor. Is this Azura’s will?
If Aldryn is really dead, then either Boethiah demanded justice, or Azura asked that he be martyred. Our faith will only grow stronger with his death.
We’re planning on naming our child Aldryn, after the former prophet. Many believe his spirit lives on inside him.
Scene with Llondon
What kind of toys do you sell here?
Boys? We don’t sell boys! Besides, isn’t your wife pregnant? Why in Boethiah’s name would you want to buy one?
Not boys, Llondon. Toys.
Toys? Well, that’s different. We got Dwemer toys. Gears, cores, and such.
Well, I’d like something that will last long, but doesn’t have small pieces or things you can swallow.
What about an axe? You can’t swallow an axe! Not without some effort.
scene with zannfar
There’s been rumors about your child. People are saying it’s Aldryn reborn.
Is that a threat, Zannfar?
Hmph. If you think I’m scared of an unborn infant and his milk-drinking parents, then the Falmer have already won.
Scene together
Did you see how much some of the others are eating? It’s irresponsible!
Oh love, go easy on them. I probably eat more here than anyone.
And you should. You’re eating for two.
2
Is everything all right? You’re looking a little pale.
Don’t worry my dear, I feel fine.
All right, but if something’s the matter, I need you to tell me.
And I’m telling you I’m fine. I’m more worried about you. You seem tense.
Given everything that’s gone on, it’d be stranger if I wasn’t.
