BoS Guards

gender really isn’t important

Black – Empathetic, in love with Blue

Blue – Tends to be on the paranoid side, oblivious

Red – More seasoned soldier of the three, straight laced

Scene 1

You ever wonder if what Scribe Jamison said is true?

Not this again.

Why, what did he say?

Jamison’s the initiate who said he got kidnapped by aliens. Ended up in the psych ward.

But I know Jamison. The guy was as sane as they come.

Yeah, I heard he was a fine soldier.

Even the best of us can lose our heads, given all the horrible things we see every day.
Besides, I know for sure Jamison didn’t see anything.

How’s that?

Because no alien in their right mind would travel thousands of light years to come to this godforsaken hellhole.

Scene 2

You know the one good thing about being off duty? I can eat snacks and soda for dinner and nobody’s gonna stop me.

You got one hell of a sweet tooth, that’s for sure.

Yeah, you should be careful. It might cost you your teeth.

Maybe, but funny as it sounds, I’d rather lose my teeth than my appetite.

Scene 3

So what do you think aliens look like, anyway?

Probably little green men with black eyes and no lips.

Ugh. Sounds scary.

Please. You two can keep worrying about those little green men. I’ll keep my eye out for the big ones with miniguns.

Scene 4

Was that you I saw this morning?

Yeah. Got some target practice in.

Wow. You’ve never taken your training this seriously before.

Well, maybe I’ve never had something worth protecting.

Why thank you initiate, I didn’t know you cared.

Scene 5

Hey, if we don’t make it, I wanna tell you something.

Relax. You’re gonna be fine.

Better than fine. You’ve got two of the baddest soldiers in the Brotherhood fighting beside you.

I know, but I feel like I need to say this before I lose the nerve.

There’s nothing to be scared about. You just keep your eyes on the prize, and kill anything else that gets in your way.

You’re not helping.

Scene 6 – Fort Strong Taken

Did you hear? The new recruit took back Fort Strong.

Well, let’s not get too excited. I’m sure the vertibird did most of the work.

You’re so cynical. Not every war is won with technology. Sometimes it’s the soldiers behind the weapons.

Scene 7 – Liberty Prime

Do you think Doctor Li is on our side? She was with the Institute!

I wouldn’t worry about it. She came back willingly. Not to mention she was heavily interrogated.

I don’t think you understand what I’m saying. What if Doctor Li isn’t Doctor Li? What if she’s a synth?

Now you’re just being paranoid. Next you’ll tell me Elder Maxson is a synth too.

Well, he did take down a deathclaw with his bear hands. You yourself said it’d require an inhuman amount of strength.

It was a figure of speech. And if you’re going to keep making accusations like that, you better be prepared to spend a lifetime in the brig.

Scene 8 – Danse (SPOILERS FOR COMPANION DANSE BELOW)

Is it wrong that I don’t care Danse is a synth? He was a good man, and a fine soldier.

I agree. He was downright exemplary.

It’s not wrong to feel that way. But it’s foolish to express it. Danse was a traitor. Maybe he didn’t know it, but intent is irrelevant.
If your existence is a threat to the Commonwealth, it’s your duty as a soldier to end it.

Scene 9 – Institute Gone

So what are we gonna do now that the Institute is gone? Have a party?

There might be a modest celebration. It’d be good for morale.

I hear some of the soldiers might have a get together at the station. Something off the books.

Funny, I didn’t hear about that.

Yeah…forget I even mentioned it.

Hello

prydwen rhymes with fiddling

Ad victoriam.

Welcome aboard the Prydwen.

Nice work taking back Fort Strong. Guess it wasn’t strong enough, huh?

Everyone’s excited about Liberty Prime, but it’s you, Dr. Li and Proctor Ingram who deserve the credit.

I can’t believe Danse was a synth. He loved the Brotherhood more than anyone.

Congrats on the promotion, Paladin. You sure as hell deserve it.

With the Railroad gone, all that’s left is the Institute.
If we can take down the Institute, I feel like we can do just about anything. Maybe I’ll even have the guts to ask him out this time.

Welcome aboard the Prydwen.

I heard there was a behemoth at Fort Strong. Good thing you had that vertibird.

Liberty Prime is something else, isn’t it?

Danse was a synth? Which begs the question…who else?

Wow, you’re a Paladin. I guess I can’t use “being new” as an excuse anymore.

The Railroad must’ve been out of their mind, trusting synths. They could’ve gone haywire at any second.

With the Institute gone, maybe we can get some more off time.

Ad victoriam.

Welcome aboard the Prydwen.

Good work taking back Fort Strong. Those nukes will come in handy.

Liberty Prime is going to win us this war.

Danse was a traitor. The fact that he didn’t know it is besides the point.

Congratulations on the promotion, Paladin. It’s well deserved.

The Railroad was a loose variable. Glad it’s taken care of.

You took down the Institute. The Commonwealth should rest easy knowing they’re gone.
