Logins and Anonymous Bug Reporting
In more website news, I’ve made a couple changes. You will now be able to ask questions and submit bug reports anonymously. Originally you had to sign up because I was getting waaaaay too many spammers, but it also created an unnecessary barrier for people who were just passing through. I think the Captcha takes care of the spammers, so now there’s no reason to make users subscribe. Hopefully this will encourage more people to report stuff.
The second change is the addition of a social media login. So far I’ve added Google, Facebook, Reddit, Yahoo, and Youtube. The login will check for matching emails, so when I tested the five login options, only Reddit didn’t recognize me and created a separate account. The standard WordPress Login will also work, but this should make things easier to login overall if you have a social media account.
Other options include Steam, Twitter, LinkedIn, pretty much any social media site there is, so let me know if there’s a specific login button you’d like added to the list.
Twitter Sidebar
I’ve decided to add a little twitter sidebar under the forum posts, basically adding every actor I can think of who worked on the mod, as well as some popular streamers and modders. I figure it’s a quick and easy way to keep up with what everyone’s doing. If I forgot anyone, go ahead and tell me your twitter handle in the comments.
Some actors are more prolific twitterers than others, and I don’t know what kind of content is going to come through the box, so if there’s something NSFW let me know and I’ll immediately launch an investigation.
