Atomic Radio v2

atomic800b

Changelog from v1:
-Added craftable workshop radio
-Added 2 additional music phases

Changelog from v2
– Forgot the transitions so re-added them

By request, added 2 additional phases of music to space out the talk radio content further. Also added a craftable radio station to the workshop. Turns out it takes all of ten seconds to do.

There’s also a way to replace the music if you’re on PC, which of course you are unless you’re a time traveler.

  1. Enable loading loose files.
  2. Create a folder Data/Sound/fx/mus/radio/atomicradio/FM/
  3. Inside said folder, add your music, labeling it 1.wav, 2.wav, 3.wav and so on, up to 44.wav. XWM is an acceptable format as well if you want to compress it.

Lastly, if you weren’t aware of this, if you hear a long program that you’ve heard before, or a song you don’t like, you can change it by turning the radio on/off.

Atomic Radio v1.00

Changelog:
– v1.01 – Added radio bumpers

Atomic Radio v1.01

All right, version 1.00 1.01 Atomic Radio is now available for downloading. I would’ve released it earlier, but I was using the old naming convention for archives and I couldn’t figure out what the hell I was doing wrong. Apparently, for Fallout 4 you have to name your file (pluginname – main.ba2) for it to work, and keep a separate ba2 for textures.

Atomic Radio – Grognak and the Jungle of the Bat-Babies

All right so here’s a sneak peek at some of the new radio stuff courtesy of James McLauchlan and Ginger Roll. This is 1 of 5 new Grognak sketches that will be included in the next update, bringing the total number to eight.

Whenever I make these I’m not entirely sure if it’s what the original artist intended, but the good thing about comic books is there’s a thousand different iterations of the same heroes. So even if Bethesda makes their own Grognak series a la Silver Shroud Radio, it doesn’t invalidate this one.
