In any case, I’ve been going in circles lately, so I welcome any suggestions regarding where I should travel next. I realize there’s a ton of places that have yet to be christened with follower commentary, but my guess is Talking Stone Camp is not high on the list.
Ureni was one of those NPCs where I felt the core lines were fine, but like with Valgus, the grammar was designed for a British accent and didn’t match the voice. So basically what I needed to do is make the language more American, using contractions like can’t and won’t instead of cannot and will not.
Combined with some other edits here and there, Ureni’s dialogue should flow more smoothly, despite the fact that nothing about her has really changed. The best part is I didn’t have to change actors – Adoxographist was willing to rework both her roles and for that she wins the game. What game? The game of life.
