Got annoyingly stuck for a while with this encounter, after talking to Maisie at the doctors and then going around diamond city, my character just kept repeating: “what’s happened to you are you sick.” Couldn’t even engage in other dialogues before finally found her hiding behind a truck back there.
This was fixed in version 2.0, always be sure to use the latest update.

I wish there was some way to help her. Maybe send her to a settlement?
Yeah, I just kept following her hoping that her state would advance to where she wasn’t just looping through the same responses and I could hire her for one of my settlements. When she got to the USS Riptide and just kept going, I followed her to just short of the point where you start taking rads and thought … well, okay, I’ll just wait here; I was out there a couple of hours ago so I know there’s no raiders before the end of the bridge, so she’ll be safe enough until she turns around … wait, WHAT? I guess she was right about happy endings.
