Boxcar is a Railroad agent who used a memory machine that brainwashes you into thinking you’re the guy who experienced those memories – a man by the name of John Castle.
The player finds him sitting on the ground, clutching both his knees and shaking. It’s clear his mind is not right.
Boxcar? Is that you?
(mumbles to self, this can be any incoherent mumbling)
Ummana…
Look at me, Box. You recognize me, don’t you?
Box? I don’t know any Box. My name…my name is Castle.
(pleading) No, your codename is Boxcar. You went in that memory machine, and it crossed a few wires, but you’re still the same old runner doing drops for Dez.
Machine…yes…the machine. It has my memories. My name is Castle. John Castle.
Fuck. He’s gone.
We found her, you know. We found Darsi.
Darsi?
My daughter. We found her. But now we have to protect her. Stop the people who took my wife.
The synth girl’s alive? Boxc-, I mean, Castle. Listen to me. Do you know where we can find her?
I…I don’t know. Oh god, she’s still at the Mayor’s! I’ve gone and left her alone. All alone. If something happens to her…
Susan, please forgive me.
At this point, the player, who has also used the Memory machine, pulls a gun on his companion, warning her to stay away from Darsi.
During the conversation, if the player fails to regain their memory, Boxcar will put out a grenade.
Stay away from her!
