Discussion Thread for this Patch
LATEST BUILD 8-19-2014
Modder’s Note:
I have finished the first 2 sections and done minor scripting. So far, I’ve kept all aliases in one quest. Stages are as follows:
1 – Just a check to prevent dialogue from repeating
2 – Stage used to start Tacitus monologue/scene
10 – Objective Locate Elise triggered, Elise enabled
20 – Plays scene where Elise runs forward, then sets her as teammate/follower
24 – Centurion A dead
25 – Centurion B dead
30 – Centurions both dead, starts EliseScene2
40 – necklace given
45 – Scene where Elise points at mountain
50 – Notes given, Elise removed as follower
55 – Suspend quest/Decline Tacitus’ request after returning fragment
60 – Find the Fragment
further Elise stages will go from 10 to 100
110 – Objective Locate Dunmer triggered, Delora enabled
120 – Scene fires where Delora talks standing over player, then forcegreets
130 – Player picks fight, Delora turns aggressive immediately
140 – Stage reserved for if player exits conversation but hasn’t progressed quest, has option to kill or speak to Delora
150 – Quest Objective: Find answers at the Shrine of Azura
155 – Dialogue bookmark
160 – Triggerbox should be placed to start scene
165 – Enables Ghost
170 – Disables Ghost, Elise forcegreets
200 – Pick up fragment
205 – Suspend quest/Decline Tacitus’ request after returning fragment
210 – Agree to help Tacitus find Elise
500 – Quest fail
This will include all character dialogue and so forth. The character scripts are broken up to make them easier for actors to find their proper lines in.
Tacitus’ quests are marked as A & B to set them apart from the ones involving Elise and Delora directly, which are Quests 1 through 4. Technically Tacitus’ quest B is optional one, as it’s a changeover point if the player chooses to use it from one quest sequence to the other early on. Essentially this means the player can do both sides of Quest 1, but will have to stick to a side from that point on to proceed.
Quest A
(Tacitus)
Tacitus: You there! Please, a moment if you will.
A>Excuse me?
B>Huh? Who are you?
C>What is it?
D>Is that how you speak to the Archmage?(available only if the player has finished that quest line)
A)
Tacitus: Entirely pardoned. You have a well-traveled look about you. If I am not quite mistaken, you’re one of those adventuring sorts, aren’t you?
1>”Adventuring sort?” Try “Dragonborn.”
2>As a point of fact, I am. And that’s what I’m doing right now- adventuring.(suspend quest)
Tacitus-1: Yes, of course you are– I’m certain your list of accomplishments is long and legendary or the like. While this may not seem worthy of your grand deeds, I have need of a reliable sort to check in on a situation in the field, as it were. Interested?
Tacitus-2: Damn it all- fine! Be on your way! (End interaction)
I added a new line, because if the player returns, you’ll need something to restart the quest, obviously change it to something that fits the character, this is a little stilted.
stage 0 and 205
Tacitus: You again! Have you changed your mind?
stage 55
Tacitus: You’re not going to leave Elise in danger, are you?
B)
Tacitus: That’s hardly important at the moment; might you be an adventurer?
> If you aren’t important, then why would I listen?
Tacitus: I’m not saying I’m not- blast it, will you just hear me out?
1>All right; go on then.
2>You sound like you need time to gather your wits. I’ll come back later. (suspend quest)
Tacitus-1: A colleague of mine is in considerable danger and I haven’t heard from her in some time. Would you be willing to help? You will be duly compensated, of course.
Tacitus-2: Gather my wits? I’m at my wits’ end! (End interaction)
C)
Tacitus: To the point, I see. Good. I need someone not so easily distracted to help someone who is.
1>Then let’s get to the point. Who needs help?
2>I don’t have time to run someone’s errands.(suspend quest)
Tacitus-1: A colleague of mine; she is undertaking research currently complicated by…outside circumstances. Would you be willing to help?
Tacitus-2: You “don’t have time to”–isn’t running errands what you adventurers do? (End Interaction)
D)
Tacitus: Archmage- you? Ah, my apologies but this is a matter of some urgency.
1>Out with it then!
2>I have emergencies of my own to attend to; make an appointment. (suspend quest)
Tacitus-1: Of course; thank you! I have a colleague who was doing some research here, but it has taken her afield and into some considerable danger. I implore you- please help her!
Tacitus-2: Make an appointment? But there is simply no time! (End Interaction)
<After all 1> options except D>
>Very well; so you want me to look for this colleague of yours?
Tacitus: Oh certainly, although perhaps you ought to hear the entire situation first. You see, Elise is working on restoring an ancient artifact; a dangerous venture in and of itself. Unfortunately, her work has drawn the attention of a Dunmer rather set on making certain she not only fails, but dies doing so.
A2>So you want me to do what, exactly?
B2>Why would a Dunmer care about this artifact?
C2>On second thought, I don’t think I care.
A2)
Tacitus: I want you to protect her–be it by either finding her and guarding her work, or finding and dealing with the assassin. Either will do; just remember to bring back anything you find on the assassin’s body should you deal with her.
1>Fair enough. Where can I find Elise? (Quest (Elise) accept)
2>So where is this Dunmer assassin? (Quest (Delora) accept)
Tacitus-1: Her notes indicate she intended to delve into several Dwemer ruins. Here, she left these behind; they may help you to locate her. (Elise’s NOTES received. Quest objective: Locate Elise) (End interaction)
Tacitus-2: If I knew that, don’t you think I’d have already had her dealt with? Still, as she is hunting Elise, I expect you may find her lurking off to the side of any road leading to various Dwemer ruins. You surely know where more of those are than I do.(Quest objective: Locate DUNMER) (End interaction)
B2)
Tacitus: I truly cannot say. I’ve only been assisting Elise’s research for a few months and this was going on long before then. I do know that blasted Dunmer has stolen a fragment of the artifact, however. Be sure to fetch it if you find her!
(Back to the three initial options.)
C2)
Tacitus: To Oblivion with you, then! (End interaction)
<After D-1 option>
>I could better help her if you’d tell me what the issue even is.
Tacitus: Ah, yes–yes of course, forgive me! You see, Elise and I aren’t of your college, obviously; we came here to do some research regarding the restoration of an artifact that had come into her possession.
Tacitus will pace then, restless and with many motions of the hands for emphasis about his concerns.
Tacitus: Unfortunately, she seems to have something of a…nemesis, if you’ll pardon such a dramatic term. A Dunmer has been hounding her steps since before we met. She has even managed to steal a piece of the sundered artifact Elise is trying to restore. I fear very much for Elise’s life.
>So this assassin took part of the artifact but not Elise’s life?
Tacitus: She’d have gladly taken both, I think. I do not know all the details; it happened before we met. I do know Elise is rather afraid for her life, but she will not be dissuaded from finishing her work.
1A>If you are so worried for her, why aren’t you out there helping her?
2A>Clearly she doesn’t find her situation as dire if she’s still in the field. I’ll be on my way.
Tacitus-1A: I am still recovering from my own encounter with that Dunmer beast and her poison arrows. Elise forbid me from joining her until I am fully healed. So now she is out there, alone. And her promised report is overdue. Please, Archmage, I implore you: help her?
Tacitus-2A: Is that so? The mages of the college must feel so very safe with such a retiring archmage. Curse your apathy! (end interaction)
1B>I see. Well then, where is Elise doing her research? (Quest (Elise) accept)
2B>Where did you last encounter this Dunmer assassin? (Quest (Delora) accept)
Tacitus-1B: She did not tell me all of her plans. Most likely to keep me here, I’m certain. At present, her research has taken her to the direction of Dwemer ruins. I am certain you are far more knowledgeable of those in Skyrim than I, Archmage. Here are the notes she left behind; they may help you. (Elise’s Notes received. Quest objective: Locate Elise) (End interaction)
Tacitus-2B: We were outside of a Dwemer ruin; I’m afraid the name escapes me. They aren’t my speciality nor am I very familiar with Skyrim – but as she is haunting Elise’s steps, you will surely find her lurking near the roads by such places. (Quest objective: Locate the Dunmer) (End interaction)
Quest 1
(Delora & Elise)
—-<Elise Side>—-
Elise can be found either within or traveling nearby a Dwemer ruin (modder’s choice or it can be random.) quite far from Winterhold.
Elise: Oh, dear me- and who might you be? I haven’t seen many adventurers this way in some time.
>Tacitus sent me; he wants you to come back to Winterhold.
Elise: (sigh) Again? Honestly; with as much as he mother hens me, he ought to have feathers and a daily egg. Well, no matter- this is rather opportune, actually. If you managed to get this far, you’re surely quite the seasoned adventurer yourself.
A>I don’t care for the word ‘opportune’ when it’s said around a Dwemer ruin. It generally doesn’t end well.
B>You could say that- why?
A)
Elise: Hm? Oh…had a bit of a bad experience in one, did we? Oh you poor, poor thing. Well, too bad- I have no intention of going back until I’ve delved into this ruin’s deepest pits. You can just wait for me out here or you can come along. Which will it be?
1> I said I’d come find you, not babysit you.
2> Alright, fine. I didn’t come all this way to go back empty handed.
Elise-1: My, a rather terse sort, aren’t you? You almost remind me of someone, but all in the worst ways. Well, stay here as you like then; I do not require a babysitter. (Quest fail)
setstage 500 (fails quest)
Elise-2: Now you’re getting into the spirit of it! Come along; the sooner we finish I…suppose the sooner we can return to the clucking hen. (sigh)
Elise will then start into the dungeon/going deeper in, expecting the player to follow her. After the first fight, she will start following the player’s lead, however, to avoid rushing them.
setstage 20 (Elise follows and is set as teammate)
B)
Elise: I could use an able bodied sort who won’t set off every trap that happens to be within ten feet of them. Hm..yes, all fingers and toes accounted for, both ears and eyes largely functional…And not a bit of a burn scar I can detect. You’ll do nicely.
>What, are you trying to make sure your traveling companion’s attractive?
Elise: Don’t be silly, my dear; I’m making certain you really do know how to survive Dwemer traps and Falmer ambushes. So, if you’re up for a bit more of an adventure than running Tacitus’ cluckish errands, come along then!
Elise will then start into the dungeon/going deeper in, expecting the player to follow her. After the first fight, she will start following the player’s lead, however, to avoid rushing them.
At the deepest point, two master centurions will be guarding a chest. After their defeat, Elise will access the chest, then allow the player to access it and take what they like.
setstage 24, 25, 30
Elise: (muttered) Just two more pieces to go now… (Louder) Lovely bit of fun, wasn’t it? These centurions certainly know how to liven up a bit of nosing about. I suppose I ought to thank you properly for your help, so here you are.
setstage 40
Elise will give the player a mid-level enchanted necklace with a random enchant.
>Thank you. So about going back to Winterhold…
Elise: Oh, yes. That. Well, I’m afraid I still have a few more things to do before I return to the College. I suppose if you’ve been gone this long, Tacitus won’t miss you for awhile longer yet, hm? It isn’t as if he should know you’ve found me.
1>He seems genuinely worried about you; shouldn’t you at least check in with him?
2>More things to do, is it? So where are you off to now?
Elise-1: Hm…Well I suppose it is rather rude to have left him just sitting there but he was being such a dolt after Del- after he was shot. Oh very well, although I can’t afford to go back right yet. Here, take this to him, hm?(Quest Complete) (Obtained Elise’s notes) (Quest objective – Report back to Tacitus)
Elise will then depart from the player, off to her new destination. She will remain active in the world (if possible) while wandering between Dwemer ruins and sell the player lower to mid range enchanted jewelry when encountered, as well as buy enchanted items from them.
Elise-2: So still up for some adventure, eh? Perfect! Tacitus might’ve had the right idea in asking you to come out here. -Well, on some level, anyway.
setstage 45
Elise will turn her back to the player momentarily and bow her head as if consulting something in hand, then she’ll point off into the distance.
Elise-2: In that direction is a Dwemer ruin I’ve yet to delve into. To all appearances, what I’m seeking saw fit to disperse itself into these ruins and the machines- very remarkable devices really, to have realized its value even fragmented. I’ve retrieved most of them already but there’s two more to gather up.
>So what are these fragments you’re gathering up?
Elise-2: Ah ah- if you can help Tacitus without much information given, you can help me the same way. Besides, I’d rather not create competition, hm?
>Who’s to say I won’t try to compete anyway?
Elise-2: (Laughter) you plainly have no idea how many Dwemer ruins are ‘in that direction’, do you? And if you are looking for ‘fragments’ in a Dwemer ruin of any kind, you’d best bring a wagon to load them all up, hmm? Still, that was a rather spirited answer. This might even be fun. Shall we go?
>All right, lead on!
setstage 60
>Tacitus is still waiting for you- I’m not sure ‘fun’ is what you should be heading for. (Loop to Elise-1’s dialogue string)
Elise: Then stop dawdling back there and come along! (Quest Accepted)(Quest objective: Locate the fragment in <dwemer dungeon>.)
<Delora Side>
Delora is initially marked as hostile but will only knock the player out on engaging with them. Player will then be paralyzed for the duration of the conversation. Delora will be leaning over them.
Delora: Oh so you’re awake: just in time to help me decide. Strand you or sell you to some pirate crew and see where it goes from there- what’s your preference?
A>Let me loose me and we’ll see a choice made, all right. (“fight” option 1)
B>Well didn’t think I was going to be waking up; what was on that arrow?
C>What do you want?
A)
Delora: Heh. Bad choice.
SETSTAGE TO 130
Delora knocks the player out again; they wake up at the bottom of a Dwemer ruin. If it’s one they already cleared, all traps will be reset and monsters respawned, with the addition of a centurion who will drop the artifact fragment Delora had on its defeat, leading to the quest to return to Tacitus. Other spawns (chests and such) will not be reset by this quest.
B)
Delora: Just a little something to take the fight out of you. Let’s see if you know more than some of the other idiots that fool’s sent after me.
>’That fool’ – Tacitus?
Delora: No, your grandmother. Of course Tacitus! Now, why are you getting involved?
1> He says you’re hunting a partner of his. All I did was agree to help out.
2>I’m just an adventurer trying to make a little coin, nothing personal. (fight option 2)
Delora-1: So you take one mage’s word as the only side? Tch; should have sold you to the pirates.
>You haven’t exactly offered your side of it.
Delora-1: You didn’t ask either, did you?
>I’m asking now.
Delora-1: And I’ve no reason to tell you anything. Try investigating a little harder before picking sides. The ‘poison’ will wear off soon. (End interaction)
SETSTAGE TO 140
At this point, the player may choose to either leave, attack or speak with Delora. If attacked, Delora will fight until her hit points are reduced to a third before escaping after paralyzing the player again; she’ll despawn once out of line of sight, though the player will receive the artifact fragment triggering the return to Tacitus. If approached, it will pick up with the C> choice.
Delora-2: Well you won’t be earning any coin from this. The ‘poison’ will wear off soon; don’t cross my path again.
Delora will start to leave the camp; she is now marked as hostile. If the player attacks, she will do the same as above in regards to dropping the fragment and escaping.
C)
Delora: To the point, eh? I like that. Let’s start with you- what do you want?
>I was told by a mage who claims you shot him that you are trying to kill his partner.
Delora: Well he’s telling the truth on one point- I did shoot him. But if I was trying to kill either of them, they’d be dead.
>Why should I believe that?
Delora: You’re still breathing, aren’t you?
>Valid point; so what now, then? Why are you after the mages if not to kill them?
Delora: That’s my business. But since you’re mixed up in this now anyway- how about a deal?
1>Go on, I’m listening.
2>Sorry, but one spared life doesn’t make you trustworthy enough for deals.
Delora-1: I need to get up to the Shrine of Azura by Winterhold. Ever since Tacitus took up with Elise, he’s flooded the path there with enough sellswords to cover it in blades.
>I’m guessing you want my help getting by them then?
Delora-1: Well aren’t you the smart one. So do we have a deal?
>’Deal’ implies both sides get something. What do I get for helping you?
Delora-1: Answers. How’s that for you?
>Fine, if that’s the only way I’m finding out what’s really going on here.(Quest Accept)
Delora-1: Done, then. Let’s go. (Quest Objective: Find answers at the Shrine of Azura)
SETSTAGE TO 150
Delora will now accompany the player. Fast travel directly to the Shrine is disabled, as is to Winterhold as Delora will not enter the town or college while Tacitus is there. If the player tries to enter on foot, Delora will interrupt them and point out the shrine of Azura is the other way.
Delora-2: Is that so? You aren’t exactly coming across as trustworthy yourself. Move along, then.(end interaction)
SETSTAGE TO 140
As, above- Delora will start to leave the camp; she is now marked as hostile. If the player attacks, she drops the fragment while escaping. If the player does not attack, the quest fails.
Quest B
(Tacitus)
<From Elise side>
Dialogue Conditioned to stage 50
Tacitus: Ah, so it’s you! Have you found Elise then?
>Yes, I did. She sent this report for you.
Tacitus: A report?! She was supposed to- oh nevermind it. I should have guessed that stubborn creature wouldn’t give up a lead, even in the face of such a persistent danger.
>Well, there you are then. I’ll be on my way.
Tacitus: Be on your- oh, divines throw you from these cliffs! You’re just going to walk away when you know she’s in danger?
1>What do you expect me to do, knock her over the head and drag her back?
2>Yes, I am. I’m done with this whole situation. (Suspend quest)
Tacitus-1: Of course not! Don’t be so brutish- not on her, at least. That Dunmer, however, is still out there. If assisting Elise in her work isn’t of appeal, perhaps simply ridding her of the danger that only complicates matters is more to your liking?
>So just kill the Dunmer and I can stop worrying about you jumping on me every time I’m in Winterhold? Done.(Quest accept) (Quest objective: Locate the Dunmer)
Tacitus-1: Good; thank you. You should find her shadowing Elise’s steps- check near the roads outside of Dwemer ruins for the beast! (end interaction)
Tacitus-2: Divines cast you to Oblivion and may the Daedric princes be waiting for you when you arrive! (end interaction)
setstage to 55
<From Delora side>
conditioned to stage 200 upon picking up fragment.
Tacitus: You’ve returned! Excellent, you’re the first to do so. Has the situation been dealt with then?
>I fought her to a standstill, but she escaped before I could defeat her.
Tacitus: Then why did you come back here? You should be hunting her down!
1>She dropped this in her escape- it seemed important to her.
2>Big talk for someone who didn’t get even that far against her.
Tacitus-1: This-! Ah, excellent work! Slaying the beast would have been best but this is nearly as good. Hurry now- we need to get this to Elise at once!
Tacitus-2: I was taken by surprise; from behind, at that! Now why have you come back if that Dunmer still breathes?(route back to previous option 1)
1>So do you know where she is, then? (Quest Accept)
2>This isn’t looking to be something I want to be involved any further in.Good luck to you both. (Suspend quest)
Tacitus-1: Of course I don’t, or I would have told you! Still, you already know that Dunmer is chasing her- start where you fought that one and or any Dwemer ruins you happen to know of! (Quest objective: Locate Elise) (End interaction)
setstage 210
Tacitus-2: I suppose that Dunmer said something to make you uneasy? Well if you recover your courage, perhaps there will be something for you to do yet.(end interaction)
setstage 205
Quest 2
(Delora & Elise)
<Delora Side>
Delora: (at reaching the base) There it is. Prepare yourself.
On reaching the base of the path leading to Azura’s shrine, the pair will be attacked repeatedly by groups of three to four bandits and mercenaries of varying strength until they reach the shrine.
SETSTAGE 160
Delora: At last…wait here and keep an eye out for any more surprises.
Delora will approach the altar and bow her head in prayer/meditation to Azura. While she’s praying, a dunmer ghost will spawn lower on the path and approach the player.
SETSTAGE 165 (ENABLE GHOST)
Ghost: Azura hears but has no answer for one who has failed in her sworn duty.
1>Who are you?
2>Then why are you here?
Ghost-1: One that came to this land long ago. Any more than that is no longer important. (loop back to 2)
Ghost-2: While she has failed Azura, you have not. As such, I bring you the answer she seeks.
Ghost-2: Once I guarded an artifact of Oblivion as the one who stands at the altar did. My failure cost me my life and it now rests in the hands of a vampire coven.
>And what does this have to do with what that Dunmer wants?
Ghost: What the vampires hold is a key of sorts- a means of unlocking or locking the bonds of such relics. With it, your companion can attain her wish.
1A>And I should take your word for it- why?
2A>So where is this relic?
Ghost-1A: You do not have to. Her prayer will fail and you will have done as you promised- you are free to go.
1B>That sounds like a great idea. I didn’t sign on to deal with ghosts.
You do not have to do anything.(fail quest)(end interaction)
2B>I get it; so what would you like me to do? (continue with 2A’s answer)
Ghost-2A: You will find the relic-and those who took it and my life- within the confines of <dungeon>. She will have only one chance; the key will shatter upon its use. (Quest Objective: Speak to Delora)
The Ghost will then despawn.
Delora: Nothing…damn it!
>Maybe you were just looking in the wrong direction.
Delora: Spare me your attempts at wit.
>Actually I was being blunt; a ghost appeared while you were praying.
Delora: A ghost? What sort of ghost?
>A Dunmer; they said that like you, they’d guarded an artifact of Oblivion- and they failed, too.
Delora: Well that’s helpful- and someone had a big mouth. Anything else?
>They told me where to find the artifact they lost- one they say can be used against the one you lost.
Delora: Then why are you just standing here making me play a question-and-answer game? We need to get going!
1> All right; we need to go to <dungeon>.
2>Answers first; I brought you here, as promised.
Delora-1>Lead on then, and hurry! (Quest objective: Clean out the vampire coven and retrieve the artifact)
Delora-2> Heh. Right, I promised you some answers for helping me get past that lot. So ask.
A>Who are you?
B>How do you know the mages?
C>What are these artifacts?
D>What do you know about Tacitus?
E>On second thought, time’s important. Let’s go. (Follow with Delora-1 response)
A)
Delora: My name’s Delora; anything else?
>That’s it- just ‘Delora’?
Delora: What did you expect? Some kind of title or the like?
>It’s just a bit anticlimactic. Didn’t that ghost say you were a guardian of some kind?
Delora: I don’t know- did it? You talked to it, not me. Still, yes- I guarded a very dangerous artifact and I made a mistake. That doesn’t make for fancy titles or fame.(Loop back to Delora-2’s response menu)
B)
Delora: ‘These mages’? Try ‘that mage’. I know Elise; Tacitus is a new development.
>All right; that mage then. Why are you hunting Elise?
Delora: By the divines- I’m not hunting her, idiot. If I was, she’d be dead. I’m just trying to stop her before she revives that artifact, that’s all.
>So it’s all about the artifact then? What of Elise herself; you said Tacitus was the new development.
>That’s enough for me, I suppose. (Loop back to Delora-2’s response menu)
All right.
Delora: …Nosy, aren’t you? If you must know, Elise and I were friends. When my brother died and the guardianship passed to me, I thought she might be able to actually destroy- or at very least unmake- that artifact.
>You were its guardian but you showed it to someone?
Delora: I know it was stupid, all right? I just didn’t want to spend the rest of my life like he had- always locked up in the same room watching over daedric trash until some greedy bastard or time itself did me in.
>So why did you show it to Elise? What made you think she could do it?
>This is sounding like too long a story. Let’s stick to relevant matters. (Loop back to Delora-2’s response menu)
setstage 155 (to make a bookmark in case player wants to go back to this string)
Delora: Youthful idiocy? She was the most well educated Breton I’d ever met in regards to Oblivion- better than even some Dunmer. Our approaches didn’t work- so I thought maybe she’d have an idea we hadn’t come up with yet.
>Was her idea any good?
Delora: …Maybe. Or maybe she was just deluded into thinking so. Oblivion’s a dangerous place to meddle in, and daedric artifacts are just little chunks of it dropped into Tamriel.
>What happened then?
>Everyone knows that; let’s get on with it. (Loop back to Delora-2’s response menu)
Delora: She didn’t mention that to try her plan, the artifact would have to be activated. Several of our friends had come along to help deal with any problems that might show up when we started trying to take it apart- we’re the only ones left now. If Elise activates it a second time- there won’t be even that many survivors. We’re both marked- it’ll swallow us whole.
>So how did the two of you survive?
Delora: I shattered it before it could consume us, that’s how.
>Why didn’t you just do that in the first place?
Delora: Are you a fool? Shattering it doesn’t destroy a daedric artifact; it can still be reassembled. It wouldn’t have changed anything, ultimately.
Delora: That’s enough about that. You’ve got your answers about me and Elise- anything else?(Loop back to Delora-2’s response menu)
C)
Delora: Well your ghost told you, didn’t it? Daedric artifacts- little pieces of Oblivion here to make everyone’s lives a little more interesting in the worst of ways.
>You know what I meant- what do these specific ones do?
Delora: Well I don’t know what your ghost’s does yet, but I’d rather not dig too deep into what the one Elise is trying to repair does. The less information about it in the open, the better. So what did the ghost say about its?
1>It was a sort of two-way key; it locks and unlocks things.
2>I didn’t really understand it.
Delora-1: Locks and unlocks..? ..Heh..thank you, Azura. That really just might be the answer. Anything else? (Loop back to Delora-2’s menu)
Delora-2: Well color me unsurprised. No matter; I’ll figure it out when I see it. Anything else? (Loop back to Delora-2’s response menu)
D)
Delora: Tacitus? I don’t know much about him, in all honesty. He just took up with Elise out of the blue.
>So how did he know to block the path to the Azura shrine if you two don’t know each other?
Delora: I hear some Imperials have an innate ability called ‘common sense’, surprisingly enough. Maybe he used it on realizing Elise had a …falling out with a Dunmer.
1>So you’re being a Dunmer is somehow instantly going to send you to the shrine? That’s some powerful common sense skill he’s got.
2>Fair enough; I suppose it makes a certain logical sense. (Loop back to Delora-2’s response menu)
Delora: A Dunmer who’s tangled up with a fairly potent Daedric artifact, keep in mind. Where else would I look for guidance if I was running dry on leads?
>You could have just gone back to Morrowind, right?
Delora: Actually no, I couldn’t have. And the reason why is not part of this question and answer deal. Anything else?(Look back to Delora-2’s response menu)
Quest 3
<Delora Side>
On entering the dungeon and killing the first vampire, Delora will pause to comment.
Delora: Vampires? Ugh…why is it always vampires?
>Did I forget to mention those?
Delora: Now that you mention it- yes, you did. Anything else you’re forgetting to mention?
>Possibly; I suppose we’ll find out when I get a reminder.
Delora: Ass. Well, let’s go. Warn me if anything else happens to occur to you- preferably before it’s trying to kill us.
After the defeat of the Master Vampire, Delora will approach the chest that was behind him to retrieve the artifact; she will allow the player to access it after that and take whatever they like from it.
Delora: Finally. Now let’s get out of here and-
Tacitus will abruptly appear by means of a spell, blocking the way out of room.
Tacitus: You traitorous fool! Can’t you see you’re being deceived by that Dunmer wench?!
Tacitus will proceed to attack the player and Delora, calling in two mercenaries (one ranged, one melee) to help him. When to a third of his health, he will teleport behind Delora and manage to steal the fragment of the relic Elise is repairing, then return to his starting point at the room’s entrance. The mercenaries will remain until killed.
Tacitus: At last- the final piece! You’ve failed, Dunmer; very soon it will be whole again. As for you, traitor- rethink your allegiances! I will not spare you a second time.
Delora: You fool! Don’t you know what will happen if she repairs that damned thing? Wake up, before you get us all killed!
Tacitus will teleport away by the same means he entered; half the monsters in the dungeon will have respawned, though as mercenaries now rather than vampires or whatever had been there before.
Delora: Damn him- come on! We don’t have much time!
>Wait; what happened there? There’s something you weren’t telling me.
Delora: I had a fragment of the relic- the other pieces had gotten away from me and Elise gathered them up, no matter how much I tried to stop her. I’d managed to keep a hold of just that one until now.
>So now it’s gone and they can complete it. And to top it all off, we don’t even know where he took it to.
Delora: Don’t worry; I can track it. Especially now that it’s nearly whole again…damn it. Come on!(Quest Objective: Locate and interrupt the ritual at <place>.)
Quest 4
<Delora Side>
On nearing the ritual site, Delora will pause and pull the player aside.
Delora: Let me make one thing clear: I don’t want Elise dead. Tear Tacitus apart to your heart’s content, but she’d better be breathing when we’re done.
>You know she’ll probably fight back.
Delora: No, she’ll be too busy with the ritual. This isn’t like putting together a broken pot. So we kill Tacitus if he’s in the way and knock Elise out. The ritual she prepared should be sufficient for our use too. Come on.
On coming in sight of the ritual, a trap will trigger and Delora will be paralyzed. Tacitus will leave his post at Elise’s back to approach the player, though he’ll not yet be hostile.
Tacitus: Still with her, are you? I suppose she handed you that sob story about everyone who died and how she has been oh so heroically trying to prevent it from happening again. Elise tells me a different tale.
A>I’m not interested in your stories. Step aside or die!
B>Does she? And what tale is that?
A)
Tacitus: Useless fool- die yourself, then! (Fight begins)
The player can choose to attack Elise instead of Tacitus, although this will not complete the quest. If Elise dies, the quest is failed. When Tacitus is down to ½ of his health, Delora will break free of the trap and try to rush the circle to stop Elise, although a barrier will prevent her. Once he is down to ⅓ of his health, the ritual will complete.
Elise: ..There…finally… I can set them free. I’m so sorry, Delora- I will set it right now, I promise.
Delora: Elise, no! The only way to ‘set it right’ is to just walk away from it now- we can seal it, I found the means!
Elise, Delora and the player will suddenly be blasted back away from where Elise had been standing. While all three are stunned, Tacitus will walk up to the ritual point and take possession of the artifact, then raises a barrier as they regain their feet.
Tacitus: Do pardon the rude interruption but female hysterics and drama are rather droll. I’d rather move along to the good part, if it’s quite alright with all of you.
Elise: ‘The good part’? Tacitus, what are you going on about now?
Delora: Damn you! I should have just killed you at the start!
Tacitus: My my- such righteous anger and fervor in the air. What about you, Dragonborn? I simply can’t stand to see the user of the thu’um at such a loss for words.
>Drop this barrier, coward, and I’ll have some ‘words’ for you, all right!
Tacitus: Haha- marvelous, simply marvelous! Do keep a hold of that indignation and anger, all of you; it’ll be most useful once you are serving me.
Tacitus will activate the artifact, which will summon forth several (four) ghosts- three Breton and one Dunmer: Allen, Garvis, Helena and Javri.
Elise: No! Tacitus, release them! You’ll destroy them if you use them like this!
Delora: Javri- why is he here?!
Tacitus: Oh why should I worry about them, Elise? You and your friends will serve me far better than these sad shadows. -Hm? Javri? Oh, was that the last guardian’s name? I didn’t bother to get it when I visited. Terribly rude of me, I suppose. Heh!
The barrier will drop and the ghosts will engage the group; Tacitus will also attack, though he will teleport around the room while doing so, shouting taunts and commanding the ghosts. When ghosts are defeated, however, they will not despawn; they will turn invulnerable but passive and kneel until the fight is over. Move on to the True End dialogue.
B)
Tacitus: Elise speaks of an attempt to seal the artifact we are now attempting to repair and it costing the lives of all those she and that Dunmer supposedly called friend. After they had died, the Dunmer then promptly tried to kill Elise, shattering the artifact in the process.
>And what did she have to gain from doing that?
Tacitus: The empowerment of the artifact, of course. Don’t you think it odd that the supposed guardian of such a thing would lead so many people to it?
>She claims to have known Elise before she became its guardian. Why wouldn’t she ask for help?
>I know a story when I hear one. Give it up. (Proceed with the A) dialogue)
Tacitus: Why would a guardian need help at all? And I could claim to have known Elise for years myself and you would hardly know otherwise. No, the only help that Dunmer wretch needed was a sacrifice, after she killed the true guardian and realized it had been rendered inert.
Delora: (speech halting and strained) D-don’t listen to him- ugh….He’s lying!
>So who should I believe? You could both be lying.
Tacitus: Indeed, that is most certainly a possibility as well. I suppose then you have three choices: Believe her, believe me, or believe neither of us and step back while we sort this out amongst ourselves.
B-1>This affair has gone well beyond me. You two settle your own problems.
B-2>You’re right; her story’s been dodgy from the start.
3>She’s been consistent in telling me not to hurt Elise; sorry, but I think I’ll stick with her. (Proceed with A) dialogue)
B-1)
Delora: (still straining against the spell) Damn you! Didn’t you hear anything I said?!
Tacitus: Fair enough. I trust you will not interfere any further then. I need to take care of that little toy you helped her fetch as well.
The player will back away from the two. Tacitus will approach the paralyzed Delora and kill her with a spell, then take the artifact she carried and destroy it as well. This triggers the completion of the ritual by Elise shortly thereafter. (Delora is not lootable to the player.)
Elise: There…it is finally complete.
Elise will sink to her knees in apparent weariness and then look back as Tacitus approaches the ritual. She will promptly rise to her feet to run to Delora’s corpse, however, on seeing her.
Elisa: No…no! Tacitus, what have you done? -You! You’re the Dragonborn, aren’t you? How could you have just stood and watched?!
Elise will round on the player, while in the background, Tacitus is starting a ritual of his own while she is distracted.
>I was only- wait, what is Tacitus doing?
Tacitus will raise a barrier and then call forth several ghosts (five): three Breton and two Dunmer: Allen, Garvis, Helena, Javri and Delora.
Tacitus: Ah, isn’t it so sweet? The siblings are at last reunited; now all that remains is to bring about the reunion of that little adventuring party. Are you quite ready to join them, Elise?
Elise: No! Not her as well…You traitor! I never should have trusted you!
Elise will attack with a spell, but it will fail to reach Tacitus as the barrier is still up.
Tacitus: Perhaps not; but you shouldn’t be so upset. You always wanted to master the mysteries of Oblivion- what better place to do so than among its inhabitants? Don’t you slink off and disappear either, Dragonborn- you’re both invited to my rise to glory as a forthcoming Daedric Prince!
Move on to the “Bad End 1 – Delora” dialogue.
B-2)
Delora: (still straining against the spell) Wh-what are you saying that for now?! S-stop the ritual!
Tacitus: Well I’m quite glad we agree. If you wouldn’t mind dealing with her, I should return to supporting Elise- I’ve left her alone far too long.
>Fine; this will only take a moment.
>Deal with your own problems. (proceed with B-1)
Tacitus will go to stand by Elise again as the player approaches Delora.
Delora: Y-you aren’t seriously…listening to him now, are you?
>Your story is full of holes, Dunmer. (kill her)
>Now’s your chance; his guard’s down! (release her-move to A) dialogue)
Player strikes down Delora, triggering the completion of the ritual. Delora is not lootable to the player.
Elise: There…it is finally complete.
Elise will look up to Tacitus, still kneeling and unaware of the two behind her.
Elise: Now all that remains is to finish this. Please step back; I don’t want you getting caught in it when I- augh?!
Elise is shocked back from the ritual by Tacitus; she lands behind the player and Delora’s body. Tacitus will then raise a barrier and proceed with his own spell.
Elise: Tacitus- what-?
Elise will rise to her feet, then realize what’s between herself and the ritual site: Delora’s corpse and the player.
Elise: Delora! No, this- it can’t be happening! You…you killed her! Damn you!
>Wait, Tacitus said you claimed she deceived you and your friends!
Elise: You fool! You gullible fool! He tricked you!
Tacitus: Indeed; I did acknowledge the possibility we could both be lying, didn’t I? If you are both done bickering over that wretch’s corpse, however- I think it high time I moved on with my own plan.
Tacitus will raise a barrier and then call forth several ghosts (five): three Breton and two Dunmer: Allen, Garvis, Helena, Javri and Delora.
Elise: No-! It took her as well…Damn you! Damn both of you!
Tacitus: The only ones to be damned, my dear, are the two of you. A Daedric Prince must has have his servants- I think I can do far worse for my first than a talented mage and the Dragonborn. Now let us begin!
Move on to the “Bad End 2 – Delora” dialogue.
<Elise Side>
True End
Tacitus: (On his defeat) No…it can’t…end like this…I was so close, after all these years…So close to taking my proper place in Oblivion-!
Delora: Then take it.
Delora will administer the final blow to Tacitus, then turn to Elise and the player.
Elise: Delora, I…you probably want to kill me for what I’ve done and I know you have every right but first, please! Let me free them, then do as you like.
Delora: You think I’ve been trying to kill you all this time? …Elise, you are living proof intelligence and common sense don’t often co-exist.
Elise: Well what was I supposed to think- you swore you’d kill me-! You even shot at me!
Delora: Did it ever occur to you I might have been just a bit out of sorts given everyone else just died?
(Delora side only)>It’s true, Elise- she told me everything she’s been trying to do to stop this, without killing you as part of the package.
(Elise side only)>Perhaps you should have been a little clearer, Delora. I thought you were trying to kill her too.
Elise will look to the player then back to Delora and bow her head.
Elise: I…I see. But you kept hounding me and you nearly killed Tacitus-
Delora: My mistake- next time I see you hanging out with some slimy Imperial mage, I’ll make sure to skip the ‘nearly’ part.
Elise’s head will snap up at that, chin raised to reflect her almost-offense.
Elise: (exasperated and amused) Delora! …Heh. Well, I suppose it’d be warranted. We keep getting burned by could haves and should haves. Even so…I’m sorry, but I have to finish this now.
Elise will start to approach the area the ritual took place; Delora will intercept her at the edge of it.
Delora: How about this- we’ll finish it. Thanks to our friend here, I have a way to do it that should work. …Though I’ll let you be the final judge on that.
Delora will make a motion as if handing something over to Elise at the ritual’s edge.
Elise: What is this…? Ah-! Oh my…Oh my. Delora, where in all the world did you get this?
Delora: A vampire den, where else? So- will it work, Elise?
Elise: Vampires again? I think perhaps you are swearing yourself to the wrong Prince. -Hm, but yes, I think it will. Please stand back, both of you.
Delora will rejoin the player, then both will step back as Elise waves them a bit further away. There will be a brilliant flare of some kind (modder’s choice of effect), followed by a deep booming sound- all three will be knocked back and the screen will go dark. When it brightens, the player, Delora and Elise will be on the ground, but with the four ghosts now standing between them and ritual point. The four will bow, then disappear.
Delora: ..They’re gone.
Elise: They are free now…the pathway to Oblivion was closed and yet they were still here.
>So what was that even all about? Who were they?
Elise: …Our friends; they tried to help us seal the relic and were trapped within it when it activated. They were both being controlled by it and being used to power it further. Once the pathway was fully opened, they would have been drawn completely into Oblivion and lost to whichever Prince crafted this artifact.
>’This artifact’. ‘The relic’. I don’t suppose you’ll ever tell me what it even was? Neither one of you have been forthcoming on that.
Delora: The less said on that, the better. Not even Azura is a Daedric Prince you want to get too heavily involved with for most people- the ones behind things like this? You definitely want to steer clear.
Delora willrise to her feet and go to the ritual point herself, then stare at the ground, hands on hips and toeing at it.
Delora: Completely destroyed- they must have canceled each other out in the worst way possible.
Elise: Or best way possible, in our case. Neither of those were things that should have been in Tamriel to begin with. …So, then…it is truly is over. The artifact is finally destroyed. I only wish it had been at a lesser cost.
Delora will walk back to Elise and rest a hand on her shoulder as both bow their heads in mourning until the player steps closer to them to remind them they aren’t alone.
>So what will you two do now?
Elise: …Well. I haven’t much cause to leave Skyrim yet; the Dwemer ruins here are simply fascinating, although I should likely get back to the college to compile my notes before I do anything further.
>What about you, Delora?
Delora: I suppose I’ll tag along with Elise. Oblivion alone knows what she’ll get up to if I’m not babysitting her. Look who she wound up with the last time I let her out of my sight.
Elise: Excuse me? I think you have it rather well backwards for who will be watching over whom. You were living out in the wilds like some wild thing yourself. Still, I could use a bit of help with these notes, so naturally you’re welcome to come along.
Delora: You’re on your own for that, but I’ll watch.
Elise: How very helpful of you, Delora. ..Still, I suppose we will be making our way back to Winterhold for now. Thank you so much for helping us. If you ever need anything, you can find us in the Winterhold College’s library most days.
Delora: And most nights, we’ll be sleeping like sane people should. I will be, anyway.
>I suppose I’ll see you both at Winterhold then sometime. (Quest complete)
Reward Dialogue: Delora side) -triggers only if the quest is completed primarily through Delora’s series of events.
Delora: Not a terrible place to be, I guess. By the way, it might not be much to someone like you, but have this. And take good care of it.
Quest Reward: Javri’s Bow. Essentially it is a daedric bow with a paralysis enchant that has unlimited charges.
>Wait, this enchantment-
Delora: (smug) Now you know what was on those arrows. Last question answered. See you around.
The two will start to walk away from the player, although they will be heard for at least one more round of dialogue.
Elise: Delora- you didn’t really use that bow on them, did you?
Delora: Of course I did; figure after getting shot with it a time or two, they earned it.
Elise: You are terrible some days, you know that?
Delora: I’m terrible most days. I’ve learned to live with it.
Both will despawn as soon as they hit a transition point.
Reward Dialogue: Elise Side) -triggers only if the quest is completed primarily through Elise’s series of events.
Elise: It is not as prestigious as it once was, but the college library is still one of the most impressive you could hope for in this part of the world. Still, before we go- I would like you to have this.
Quest Reward: Elise’s Ring. Fortify Magicka 50 points.
Delora: Didn’t you get that from-
Elise: Don’t be silly, of course not! Well then, Dragonborn- Winterhold isn’t going to bring itself to us, so I fear we must be on our way to it or we shall never get there. Do take care in your travels and please come to see us any time you are in Winterhold. Who knows- Delora may finally trust me to be safe enough among books to take a break from my company. Or I may decide a little more field research is in need. Either way, we would be delighted to see you again.
The two will start to walk away from the player, although they will be heard for at least one more round of dialogue.
Delora: Are you certain that ring wasn’t…?
Elise: (sadly) No, it was…but Allen wouldn’t want me dwelling over it. He’d be quite happy to know it was aiding someone like the Dragonborn.
Both will despawn as soon as they hit a transition point.
After this point, both NPCs can be found in the Winterhold college, specifically the Library, though at night, Delora will go to the Frozen Hearth to rest. Both are recruitable now as followers. Elise will also sell enchanted jewelry at a discount when not following the player, while Delora will consistently sell upper tier arrows at standard prices. Both will also buy from the player like standard merchants, though only things they’re interested in. (Soul gems, jewelry and enchanted weapons & armor for Elise; arrows, bows, alchemy ingredients and poisons for Delora.)
Bad Endings
<Elise Side>
<Delora Side>
Bad Ending – 1)
Tacitus: Damn you both! This will not be the end of me!
Tacitus will raise another barrier and then make a waving motion to disperse the ghosts, who then vanish. Tacitus himself will also disappear, releasing the barrier so Elise can run forward and kneel where the ritual took place.
Elise: No…he took the artifact with him. Why didn’t you stop him- why did you let him kill Delora?!
>I didn’t know who to believe. This hasn’t been the most clear of situations.
Elise: Fool!
Elise will start to rise to her feet, hands raised as if to cast a spell, then turn away from the player.
Elise: …Well there is nothing for it then. I suppose I can’t blame you- you’re right. It was a confusing situation and I never realized how far Tacitus’ ambitions went myself. Away with you- I never want to see you again. I will deal with him and the artifact myself- your involvement is no longer needed or desired. (quest fail)
Elise will then break off interaction. She cannot be attacked and she will despawn as soon as she is out of line of sight of the player/encounters a door/transition point. She will appear in randomly in Winterhold from that point on as a consistent seller of enchanted jewelry- though she will charge the player very high prices and refuse to buy from them.
Bad Ending – 2)
Tacitus: No…Not when I had…nearly….
Elise: If you want to rule part of Oblivion so badly, Tacitus, perhaps you should reside in it a time.
Elise will finish Tacitus off with a fire spell, then start to round on the player. The ghost of Delora will stand, however, and get between them.
Elise: Delora…I’m so sorry…forgive me, please! I never wanted this….
The ghost will turn to the player then and point to her own corpse.
Elise: Delora? What is it? -You, you know something don’t you, Dragonborn? What is she trying to tell us?
>She was carrying an artifact we had found. It was supposed to neutralize the one you restored somehow.
Elise: I see…then, I can do at least this much.
Elise will kneel by the body, then go to the ritual area. There will be a brilliant flare of some kind (modder’s choice of effect), followed by a deep booming sound- both Elise and the player will be knocked back, then the ghosts will disappear.
Elise: …It worked; the path to Oblivion is closed and they are free.
>Why couldn’t she speak to us? The last ghost I met was talkative enough.
Elise: She was trapped halfway into Oblivion. Her voice wouldn’t have been able to reach us. After the breaking of the path… Well. I haven’t much care to talk to you either. Do not approach me again. (Quest fail)
Elise will start away from the player, despawning as soon as she hits a door/transition point. She is removed completely from the game after that point, having no reason to remain in Skyrim.
Miscellany
Greetings:
Delora: Now what is it?
Delora: Is this important?
Elise: Well hello again!
Elise: How nice to see you still hale and whole, my friend!
End Interaction: (follower)
Delora: So let’s get moving then.
Delora: Was that all? Tch.
Elise: Wonderful! Let’s be on our way then.
Elise: Very well.
Trading:
Delora: You need to work out more or get less grabby. (sigh) Fine, hand it over.
Elise: I’ll be happy to buy your excess treasures, of course– but I only have so much room to carry things I haven’t appraised.
Cave:
Delora: Great, a hole in the ground and probably filled to the brim with vampires.
Delora: Oh look, a cave. How amazing- like Skyrim isn’t full of them.
Elise: Ooh, a cave. You know, people tend to forget some rather lovely treasures in places like this…
Elise: So… have you ever done any mining? I could use some gems to refill my stock…
Draugr Dungeon:
Delora: Let me guess- it’s a dark, dank place probably full of dead things that still walk.
Delora: I really don’t get why people love to go grave robbing.
Elise: The Nords must be flush with precious minerals to go burying their dead with so many treasures. You don’t think they’ll mind if we ah, liberate a few, do you?
Elise: Don’t worry; one fire spell and the draugr inside will go up like dry tinder.
Dwemer Ruin:
Delora: Hey now, who do you think you’re traveling with? Elise?
Delora: Let me guess- we’re looking for Elise?
Elise: Ah, you know, I was so focused on hunting the shards before, I’m certain I missed countless other treasures in here. Shall we have a look?
Elise: Oh, this one’s new to me! Come, come! Let’s go inside and poke around!
Battle Start:
Delora: They won’t even see me before they’re dead. Heh!
Delora: Just die!
Elise: Really? Please, I’ve no time for the likes of you.
Elise: It’s over for you.
Battle End:
Delora: So much for that. Let’s go.
Delora: Finally; grab anything worth grabbing and let’s be on our way.
Elise: And that’s that. Let’s go.
Elise: Hold it– my spell hit that one; you’d better not sack ALL the loot.
Dragon Battle start:
Delora: Oh you’ve got to be joking! A dragon?!
Elise: And here I thought it was blizzards they were telling me to watch the skies for.
Dragon Battle end:
Delora: I’m going to be seeing a lot more of this around you, aren’t I? (sigh)
Elise: (breathless) Well, that was… exciting. Hmm, I wonder if there’s a market for dragon bones…?
Banter
All of these are presumed to be after they are followers.
<Delora With Player>
>So what is it with you and vampires?
Delora: They either love or hate me. I keep tripping over the damned things, even when I’m just trying to get out of some nasty weather or something. I find a cave and there they are.
>They’re stalking you? Did you kill a master of theirs or something?
Delora: More than I care to count, feels like. I’m not so sure they’re stalking me, but if they are- I wish they’d get the hint and shove off.
—
>What was it like to be a guardian of a Daedric artifact?
Delora: Why don’t you go sit on a book for about twenty years? I think you’ll get the idea pretty fast.
>So that’s it? You just stand around all day?
Delora: It sits around and looks vaguely menacing- you stand around and look extremely menacing. That’s all there is to it. Well, that and killing someone if they come after it but that’s actually pretty rare.
>I’d think you’d be chasing mages off by the dozens.
Delora: Certainly, if they knew it was there. Most don’t have a clue.
<Elise with Player>
<Delora & Elise>
These occur only when they are in the Library together and neither is actively following the player.
Delora: So that ring…
Elise: It wasn’t what you think. Allen was a friend and nothing more.
Delora: Then why give you a ring? Doesn’t that mean something particular men give women jewelry or is that just my neck of the woods?
Elise: (sigh) Usually yes, but not always. He just noticed how frustrated I got with being pestered by men whenever I was trying to work in that particular instance. A little publicly given gift from a man to a woman chased off the decent ones rather neatly.
Delora: So that meant you just had to deal with the unscrupulous ones, eh?
Elise: Indeed. Thankfully that’s quite simply accomplished with the right spell.
Delora: Heh!
—
Elise: Delora, about that bow you had…wasn’t that your brother’s?
Delora: It was; but he’d not have wanted it gathering dust.
Elise: Well I can understand that, but why didn’t you simply use it yourself? I mean, you were, weren’t you?
Delora: Mostly because I don’t need it now and I figure the Dragonborn did need it.
Elise: You don’t need it- but you’re an archer!
Delora: Yes- and a better one than my brother ever was. I don’t really need a paralysis enchantment to get the better of someone.
Elise: Then why were you using his bow?
Delora: Less chance of a fatality I didn’t intend- and a certain amount of amusement in watching people fall over with a stunned look on their face.
Elise: You truly are a terrible person! (laughter)
