Trailers and Teasers – Innkeeper Interaction

Here’s a new feature that a few NPCs will have in the future. It has a 25% chance of firing so it ideally won’t happen every time you visit an inn, but I may lower the percentage if it’s too frequent. After the idle fires, the NPCs will randomly select from about 10 or more responses, some conditioned by the time of day. For instance, Alassea won’t order an ale in the morning, but Skjarn won’t care.

Who gets it mostly depends on the availability of the actor. That and more unique combat dialogue is the current priority, as well as getting rid of the current placeholder audio for NPCs like Yushari.

    1. Ha, well, it’s not like there’s much to play around with. Especially Orgnar because a lot of the generic vanilla stuff like “Food for the hungry, drink for the thirsty” is out of character for him.
