Lundvar is a Markarth guard who recently lost his brother under suspicious circumstances. Much of his dialogue alludes to the corruption that plagues the city, yet Lundvar’s own prejudices regarding Nords and their honor blinds him to the truth. Coincidentally, he has also blind in one eye, as a result of relying on a culinary potion developed by Clario Moorsley.
The Raven of Anvil
The fate of Lundvar’s friend Wuuthmar as well as the cover up regarding his brother’s murder is revealed in the Raven of Anvil quest. While the player will not be able to coax Lundvar into helping the Raven, the guard will still inadvertantly provide the PC with the answer they need to progress the quest.
