Fan Art – Morrigan by Agonalia

Has anyone played ‘The Path’ in here? I just found this amazing soundtrack in my old playlist and it kinda inspired me to draw Morrigan in the forest that is full of evil monsters.

sigh Too bad she doesn’t look much like Morrigan, but I like the pic anyway lol

Well, Morrigan doesn’t technically have any canon features, she’s just got the same potato face as every other kid in Skyrim, so as long as she isn’t a goblin it’s more or less accurate.

As for the evil monster in the background, I’m going to assume that’s Raynes – and if so, the scene takes on an entirely different context. Either way it’s fantastic, you can almost hear the chandelier-like leaves chiming ominously in the background.

  1. I really enjoyed “The Path” – for all its many faults, I found it deeply atmospheric and very intriguing, full of occasionally quite disturbing psychological symbolism and actually quite scary. It reminded me a lot of “The Company of Wolves” which back in the early ’80s when I was a much younger woman than I am now, and had a very powerful impact on me at the time (although I watched it again quite recently and wondered quite why I liked it so much back in the day.. )

So yeah, good pic, also works because the malevolent figure of Raynes turned out to be not so bad after all, not when I played his and Griffith‘s quest anyway. I was genuinely torn when given the choice of whether to leave Morrigan in Raynes’ “care” but he came through in the end. What a relief! Honestly Kris you keep writing these characters that I actually care about, it’s no good for my nerves I tell you.

  2. You know, I actually did have an idea of what Morrigan should look like. I tried to recreate what I imagined her to look like using the TK Children mod in the Creation Kit. I got kinda close. It’s not perfect, but it’s a bit hard with such limited resources. I should post a screen of her in the nexus INPC. Maybe we can consider that her canon look.
