A Mushy Note of Thanks

I’m going to take just a moment of your time to get a little mushy, as INPCs has been out almost 3 years now. Might even make Kris blush, hahaha.

Going through Files of the Month I saw INPCs was No 1 just two years ago, Oct 2012 :) And now my Anna NPCs is No 3 (knock on wood it stays there just another few days and doesn’t get passed up by Wintermyst again!). I owe a lot to Kris for inspiration, advice, and help along the way, not to mention getting me voice exposure. In speaking with many other fans of both his and my mods, and fellow modders, I know I’m just one of many people he’s helped, with their own modding and greatly enhanced the game with his amazing characters. Congrats on the fantastic two years! Huzzah! Thanks pal! :)

3DNPC v3.08.2

This is the release of 3.08.2, which has some minor tweaks and fixes from the previous release – see below for details. I’ve also added some new Fallout roles to the Open Roles section in case anyone is interested in auditioning for those.

Also earlier today I was trying to remove some of the spambot registrations that signed up to the blog before I added the captcha, and I accidentally deleted a whole column of users, three of whom were probably real people.

I could’ve sworn I unchecked the boxes before pressing delete but I guess I didn’t because when I went back in to give them author powers those three accounts were gone. So if your username starts with the letter “J” and your account got wiped, apologies, I’m a fucking idiot. But you knew that already.

• Added 2 missing audio files for Zajhirra, Callen
• Added failsafe that forcibly stops a scene involving Vardath and Kleppr at stage 50 in case it gets stuck

Howdy ya’ll. Just wanted to say I’m nearly done adding the dialogue in GECK for Hope Lies (Jessica Osborne). She has over 300 lines at the moment, so it’s been a slow grind, but with the great nonoodles’ help I think it’ll be ready some time in September. I’ve also made a couple normal NPCs voiced by Lucy Starita, who voiced Ariele of the famed cabin. By the way, it’s a trip to be able to make Asians and Hispanics after modding Skyrim for so long. At long last, we exist!

In other news, Matthew Dixon had an excellent idea to make a Patreon account for the podcast network, which will allow patrons, or as they’re referred to in the UK, “punters” to donate funds in exchange for rewards. I doubt we’ll ever reach a milestone goal, which is good because I’m lazy. Still, a tiny tip jar full of quarters and quid is a good idea.

This Patreon is for the podcast only, not for Interesting NPCs. Donations for the blog and the mod project can be done here. And regardless, the content will still be free, so there’s no need to pay anything other than your attention, if even that.
