This is the eighth of ten updates before the release of 3.07 where we move The Aldmeri Prisoner to Beta and do some more prep work for the next quest.

I also removed some keywords that were attached to an unreleased cell, which may possibly conceivably perhaps could theoretically in some cases have led to the location being flagged for Radiant Quests. Maybe. And if so, you could be asked to pickpocket or rough up an NPC that is not even released yet.

• Fixed instance where arriving on a day other than Morndas started Fenced In but left Swims-In-Wind disabled
• Altered prerequisites so Rose Without Thorns can be started without progressing in the main quest
• Minor typo and sound file fixes
• Added missing sound files and textures for The Aldmeri Prisoner quest
• Removed Town and City keywords from unreleased location to prevent Radiant Quests from pointing you there

Here’s a harp cover of Giramor’s Warrior’s Life song, composed and performed by Anna Castiglioni. I decided to remove the requirement that Amalee listen to a previous version of the song before she learns it, because there are just way too many bards and seriously eff that.

You do still have to finish her quest. I also noticed while testing this that one of her hellos – the nirnroot one – was set to repeat 24/7, so I’m switching it to “SayOnce.” Anna’s also pretty good with recording, so I decided to give Amalee a dozen more hellos to be added sometime in the future. If you notice any other lines from other NPCs that need the “SayOnce” treatment, let me know.

Viridiane, the voice of Zora Fair-Child, is working on a patch for a new set of followers (Virtut and Chaine) complete with personal quest and marriage options. You can check the progress of all user scripts and collaborations here. Also, it looks like the Skjel marriage patch has been greenlighted.

Elegant Artist and Ronja Monto are working on their own NPCs, but they’ve decided to learn the CK to do it. This is probably the best way to go about, because no one will be as passionate about your project as you. However, if the learning curve is steep or if you just don’t have the time (re: lazy like me), then having the community here make your NPCs a reality is another way to go about it.

Lastly, here’s the first episode of Strings Attached, a music based podcast hosted by Anna Castiglioni (Amalee, Morndas) and Ronja Monto (Alassea, Mithril).

It’s much more chill than the previous show, something comfy to listen to as you go about your day. Hopefully it will give you a little more insight into the whole composition process.
